AECL is a public company and not-for-profit service provider for the Australian egg industry. As a member organisation, we work to improve the production and marketing environment for Australian eggs. We are also committed to providing our members the tools necessary to ensure the long-term competitiveness and efficiency of the Australian egg industry.
Membership is open to all Australian levy-paying egg producers. Joining AECL will not cost you any additional money and every levy-paying Australian egg producer is entitled to join.
Once a member, you are entitled to full voting rights at general meetings as per AECL's Constitution (available on our website). Other benefits of membership include:
- Invitations to attend stakeholder meetings, including the bi-annual industry forum and annual general meeting (in November)
- Receipt of AECL publications designed to keep you up-to-date with industry news, including the Annual Report, the fortnightly newsletter, and our bi-monthly magazine Eggstra! Eggstra
